Libby Brockman
Assistant Director / Teacher
Libby Brockman trained at The National Theatre Drama School (Melbourne) as well as various intensives in London, Sicily and Catalonia. She has performed Shakespeare around Australia and in Oxford and has enjoyed working on many short films, independent TV shows and a variety of theatre shows. Her favourite theatre style is immersive – choose your own adventure, and she brings this passion to the studio, working with the students to create their own interactive theatre to work those listening & improvisational muscles imperative to any good actor. Libby also has a Bachelor of Youth Work & Youth Studies (RMIT) and has taught drama, sport, English, wellbeing, climbing, road safety and acting to young people from 3-18yrs. This has led to many exciting opportunities working with young people, including internships in India and Poland and the local, Regional Arts Victoria Creative Workers in Schools program. She is passionate about advocating for, working with and empowering young people to build their self-esteem, resilience, and social skills and is always impressed with the amazing ideas young people come up!
